Absolute fire! :0

Quite an interesting rhythm section, but in places it's too broken for me (0:03, 0:08, 0:14 etc.). Also, in some places the notes were not selected in the best way and in some places there are too many of them (there are all the same time codes + 0:31, 0:40). From 0:43, chaos begins, as for me, you've just overdone it very much. I understand that you wanted to make it more developed, but as for me, it could be achieved here by changing instruments, motives, and radically changing the melody. Also, the leading instrument stands out too weakly (in general, there are two melodies here in my opinion) and this results in an additional porridge. However, there are advantages))) 1:03 I love this part, there is a much clearer rhythm and a clear melody, in general, the part is quite interesting. Well, in general, this is again the opinion of a person who tries his best to reduce the number of instruments and is very strict about rhythm. So it is possible for someone who is more likely to evaluate this track in the melodic part in the best way. In any case, I hope my criticism was constructive enough to explain rate 6/11

for the rhythm with the drums I choose to do the first kick on the first beat, and the other 3 kicks on the second beat, right before the snare hits, snares always hit on the 3rd. Than in the second repeat the final 8 are, snare snare kick kick. or is the problem with the rhythm in the sliding of the chords?, and the melody on 0:43 was kind of rushed, I didn't really put any efford in that one, I just wanted it to be done cause I really liked the first part of the song, but that made the second part feel... yeh weird. And about the instruments, I choose these on purpose. It was supposed to sound like an old video game/chiptune, but idk how to do more interesting instruments that sound like that yet, I'll look more into that, thx for the feedback :D

Oh, it's pretty chill! As for me, lead 0:31 is a bit fast, as for me, a lazy portamento lead (or something like that) would be good here. The 0:58 section is pretty amazing! The only thing would be to weaken the impacts a little, because as for me they are quite loud. But in general, I really like it (it reminds me of some game track (but I don't remember which xD). And one more little tip, pay attention to the bass, in the case of working with arpeggios, the bass contributes probably all 50% of harmony, and probably the same amount of atmosphere, in general it is a very strong instrument (but you never need to overdo it) Also, in the end, the transition to vinyl does not fit in at all, as for me, but this is already straight IMHO! :)

supermelon-creations responds:

thx and I have to say, yes the lead could actually be too fast, I made it before deciding on what kind of genre it was going to be. Also those things at 58 aren't impacts, maybe I should've distorted them a little less, but I wanted to make them feel similair to the things in my song Unable, but they're acutally voichops, which were supposed to sound melodic, still thanks for the feedback, and about the bass, I still don't know how to properly do bass... so yeah, and I changed the bass last minute (with the parts where the bass goes really high), and the ending was kind of rushed, and I was in a school break, there were a lot of people around me (and thus also a lot of noise) so sorry but I hadn't really been able to listen enough to the details, thx for the feedback

Dude, you're a talent! No kidding, thats beautiful! The only thing I would add is some kind of chord progression (it would fit especially well here 0:48, 0:55). But nevertheless it sounds quite glorious! If it's not a secret which synthesizers/samplers you used (I think I hear nexus (especially bellish lead) at the expense of the arpeggiator I'm not sure, it sounds suspiciously pure xD). I am especially interested in the pluckish lead at 4:27. How you made it? Thanks! :)

Tulvadar responds:

You have a very good ear. I`m using a FL Studio DAW and Nexus with a lot of banks. The only thing created by strictly samples and combining is rhythm. Everythin else is played on midi keyboard and digital piano. "Pluckish lead" is a chaos synth from one of nexus databases. I`m happy that you enjoyed my song and i will take your advice into next song that i make. Thank you for your time. =)

Good atmosphere! The drums, by the way, are also not bad. As for me, the main problem is repetivity. It seems to me that the lead is very much repeated (it was possible to change it a little in the drop). But in general, the track is fire! :D

supermelon-creations responds:

thx and only the first lead is repetitive, I originally had the second lead layer over the first (ofcourse with different sounding synths), but that sounded a little to messy for my taste so I changed it to this. (thx for the feedback) and thxx!
OH NO just realised a mistake which made it a little more repetetive, just fixed it
and the end missed the piano... idk how I left that in.... what the heck

Sickkkk! Nothing more to say! :D

supermelon-creations responds:

Yesss thx!

I hear a lot of waterflame vibes! Even the melody is somewhat similar, although perhaps it's just me :D

supermelon-creations responds:

woow that's a really nice to hear, I remember listening to waterflame back in the day an loving it, thx!

Edit: now that I listen to it a second time I hear what you mean :P

pretty dope, ngl! :D

Wow, that's what I really like! This track is much more interesting from the point of view of experiments. And I think you should do more of these tracks! Kick sounds pretty nice, as for snare, everything is not so smooth here (it sounds like clap and it is quite liquid, which is not very good for dubstep IMHO). I also don't really like the transition to 2: 25, BUT otherwise it's very good! Five stars!

supermelon-creations responds:

I did a lot of these at the start of this year, but back than I didn't do any mixing mastering or compression. So I think yes I should do more of these, but I also wanna make some ambient/lofi songs again. thx for the feedback.... and yes.... 2:25 is not good, someone told me to do that, but I shouldn't have trusted him cause he's bad at making music... :P heheh...

From the point of view of the track itself (without vocals), this is probably one of your best works. Great job! :D

supermelon-creations responds:

thx yeah, I thought that too, though now I have a really hard time making better songs...

I don't know what I'm doing, hi
